Christmas Tree Skirt (3 Options)
This pattern is designed for a Christmas Tree Skirt.
I have experimented with incorporating micro-quilting into digital design several times, but in this project, it’s about complete background having micro-quilting and top of that the Mandala that should pop out, while micro-stitching/quilting will give it an added texture - This took me a couple of months and completed in October, but I thought this could be the perfect gift for Christmas -
It has 03 options -
1- Christmas Tree skirt 60”x60”
2- Christmas Tree skirt 40”x40”
3-Table Topper 25”x25”
No segment is taller than 12” in height. You can also use this design for a whole quilt.
The quilt design is split into two namely: “Background” and “Mandala”.
BACKGROUND: The background is optional and is for “micro-quilting” and is numbered from A-G
MANDALA: It is divided up into 19 segments. Some of the segments are further split up into smaller segments. I did not connect them so that you can reposition them if needed.
Segments 16-19 should be quilted by rotating the quilt.
Quilt segments 01-07 to make a 39” tree skirt.
Quilt segments 01A, 02 and 03 to make a table topper instead of the whole skirt.
There are only a few areas where you will have to match the points.
Designed on x/y coordinate so if you are using handiquilter with prostitcher, use x/y zero position feature for quick quilting that you never imagined before, for more click here
