Create Stunning Wine Bottle Carrier with Embroidery look on Longarm machine

I am a fan of "Embroidery on Longarm" but I don't like the idea of using embroidery design, simplifying it and all that process,  It's too time consuming and has hard learning curves for a lot of quilters. I wanted to create a longarm computerized design (Continuous line, ready to stitch with word go) and have embroidery look/feel. This is my first such project and every stitch that you see is drawn and made continuous line, took me days ofc, but ready to stitch.

Includes; A- Complete design B- Outline only (Create your own design, Initials etc. or for future use) and PDF sewing Instructions. Finished Bottle Carrier is 3"x3"x15", Perfect for One Liters bottle.

Background, Merry Christmas, Star and Christmas Tree are not connected so that you can choose your own choice of color for threads.

Formats Included: BQM, CQP, DXF, HQF, HQV, IQP, PAT, PLT, QCC, QLI, SSD, and TXT.

The design is very pretty. I also have had trouble with the tree and words not tracking perfectly. My little horizontal lines look more like zig zags than nice horizontal lines. I see where there is a recommendation to use stabilizer. I will try that. I've made two and will make more. I have a Nolting Pro with Intelliquilter.

Turned out great, Quilted on HQ, First one was a kind of test and the second one was a winner. Perfect gift.

I absolutely love the design, but the fill in the lower left side of the tree stitched outside of the outline of the tree. Not sure how I can fix this for the next one I’d like to make? Is this due to shrinkage from stitching? Also, I wish the design actually stopped for the color changes. It would make it easier to catch the stops.

Hi, Beth - This looks very cool, about first question, yes its due to shrinkage of the fabric since it has dense stitching, you can avoid that by fusing 'Iron on interfacing' to the back of quilt, also keep the fabric tight (as we keep it lose normally in quilting) - About color changes, the design is made for color changes as the tree, background, Merry Christmas and Star aren't connected, You have to change your settings of jump stitches to Zero (0) where it will stop at every jump stitch so that you can change the thread. I hope it helps. If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out.

I have just tried it out and I am very sorry to report that my Moxie does not like the pattern at all. The stitches are very tiny and the movements on the Moxie are very jerky. Possibly better with a higher end longarm. I am halfway through the tree and I have had 2 motor crashers. The first one I was able to recover from and restart in the paused position, but the second one I could not recover from and I have to restart my machine. So in all reality I wont come back and finish it at this moment in time as I have other Christmas items to complete. I was using Glide both top and bottom, which is my thread of choice and a number 16 needle and a stitch size 10..Maybe someone could offer some advice as to why I had these issues.

We are so sorry that you are having issues with this pattern! The pattern was tested on an Infinity which has Pro-Stitcher. The pattern is very dense like an embroidery. We advise to use a finer weight thread 60-100 wt. both on top and bottom. Quilt with 14-18 stitches per inch. The problem you are having might be due to your machine, or software setting that doesn't support dense stitching?
