This pattern is designed for the "King Tut" quilt Kit "Old School Rule Quilt" by Legit Kits

This design is very special. It took me more than 4 weeks to complete, that working every day more than 12 hours. I enjoyed every moment of creation, addition, deletion and researching about the historical backgrounds. You may find many historical hints in the design, if not you can still enjoy it stitching ;)

The complete design is 60" x 80". No segment is taller than 12”. You can use this design as a whole cloth quilt. The design is divided into "King Tut" and "Background".

Background: The background goes over the black portion of the quilt and is divided into 9 segements A to I.

King Tut: It is divided into 28 segments. Some of the segmenets are further split in to smaller segments, iI didn’t connect them so that you can reposition them if needed.

The rest everything is mentioned in the layout map and Instructions PDF files.

Formats: BQM, CQP, DXF, HQF, HQV, IQP, PAT, PLT, QCC, QLI, SSD, and TXT.

I saw these design on your website and just had to buy the kit to make King Tut.
Paper piecing this Pharoah took a while but well worth it. Couldn't wait to get the top done so I could add these quilting designs-- Perfect designs for this quilt and easy to quilt! !!!
I showed quilt to my guild- They all gasped- truly a treasure. My kids and grandkids will love this quilt for a lifetime.
Thanks for making these designs.

Incredible, very well thought out design that stitched beautifully. I rearranged the hieroglyphs for a different quilt, and I’m so happy with the results!

I really loved this design and it quilted out good. But SO MANY starts and stops!! I get that I was doing this on a larger throat space and it is nice for the little guys that this is in smaller segments. But even then, it would have been nice to see some "traveling stitching" just so all the starts and stops are not so noticeable.
Some segments like B, 6, 12, 25 & 27 are quite hard to line up with the fabric placements because they have many sections in one so once you line up one side you need to stitch it out then line up the next side of that segment.

Overall I really do love this design as I love most of your designs! You have an amazing design talent!! I would defiantly recommend this to the intermediate level longarmer.
